Put "it" to the Test!

Here are the words of our living God leading us to understand and recognize spirits. Have we ever come across spirits we could feel in our bones were good or not so good? And at times, haven't we all encountered the spirit that leads us in so much light, straight to the darkness? God is the same today, yesterday and FOREVER. His word and His will, ever faithful and never changing.
He alone gives us His truth and shares with us His understanding in defining spirits. He tells us EXACTLY what a spirit of righteousness will be and everything we need to know to walk in His path ourselves.
Let us never stray from His truth and His mercy and let us humble ourselves in wisdom to heed His warnings in regards to spirits.

                                    1 John

4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Be well my friends. Let us walk in the spirit of truth and BE His goodness on this earth. Xoxo

Follow the Leader

This is an important message. These words from the LORD are meant for you and I in this very moment, to know what a true believer of our God is. In these days we are pulled left and right, we are being led by churches with no foundation and living in a world that bows to man. This scripture given to us through Timothy, reminds us what truly matters in these days and always. Where our hearts lay, shall also our souls be for eternity.

                                  1 Timothy

4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. 4:4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving: 4:5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. 4:6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine, whereunto thou hast attained. 4:7 But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness. 4:8 For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come. 4:9 This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptation. 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe. 4:11 These things command and teach. 4:12 Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. 4:13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 4:14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. 4:15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 4:16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

Every moment matters. Every thought, every word and every action matter. These times of sin and frailty of spirit are upon us and God is calling us, His children, to rebuke the ways and the words of this place and grow closer to Him.
He is asking us to embrace His will, be fruitful and enjoy the gifts He puts into us. He gives us in this scripture His blessing, to partake of things like marriage and meat and so much more, when we receive it in prayer and thanksgiving of Him. Our Father loves us completely, knowing our souls so much more than we know ourselves.
Of all the goodness shared in this scripture the focus is abundantly clear…

We MUST be the example! It all counts, people are watching, people are listening and we are called to lead our brothers and sisters in righteousness. He could not say it more clearly; read His word, follow in His ways and you shall not only save yourself, but MOST importantly, you will be leading another to salvation.
We must know that God wants every single soul that will come to Him and He created us so perfectly to help Him achieve that desire.

So, I leave you with this…
Imagine each person you encounter every day. They are in need of God. They are worthy of His goodness, His love and His forgiveness. But, it is at times, hard to feel open to a stranger. Now, imagine that they are your mother, your child, your best friend. Imagine you have loved them with all of your heart since the day they came into your life. See, this is how God sees us, all the same, every bit of us loved and with precious souls. We are not strangers, but family. We belong to Him, together as one and we shall yearn for the day we meet those who came to Him through OUR righteousness to hear "thank you and its so good to see you again".

Be well in Him xoxo

No Meds Needed!

1 Corinthians 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Just as we are born in flesh and raised in spirit, we are capable of sickness and healing in both spirit and flesh.
There are times in our lives we feel our bodies failing us. We are weak, tired and unable to see an end in sight. My friends, if we know this happens within our bodies than it can and does happen within our spirits.
If we are ill physically we rest, we pray for healing and we trust that we will be better. Spiritual illness is much the same. We need a place to rest, to trust and to hope we will be better.
When our spirits are weak we are separated from God. We are lost and in need of comfort and at times, seek refuge in flesh, in man. Imagine trying to heal physically from drinking, partying, staying up all night...Not going to work right? The same is found in the spirit. If we refuse to turn toward our Father to build up our defenses and rest then we shall remain weak and defenseless against sin.

Luke 9:11 And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.

The LORD provides healing in every way. He physically heals our wounds and renews our bodies yes, BUT so much more than that, He is the healing of our spirits!

We are spiritual beings in physical bodies and in knowing Him and following Him, we receive healing completely.
He lifts us up and carries us and DOES take away all that can do harm unto us, if we believe.
So when you feel spiritually low, seeking more than Tylenol and sleep, turn TOWARD THE LORD and let Him heal you.

Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

Be well in spirit and you will be well in flesh!

God bless xoxo
